This May, we are happy to announce the arrival of our sixth group of Canadian volunteers that are being hosted by Balkan Sunflowers Kosova (BSFK) through cooperation with the Global Youth Network.

These volunteers have been placed in our Learning Centers Network, where they have been doing some excellent work! Each center gets two to three volunteers for the duration of the month of May. During this month they assist with the homework help program and organize extra non-formal education activities for the children.

We are excited to have this new group of volunteers with us in order to help us continue to learn and grow! We hope that they will enjoy their time here with us. In other exciting news about BSFK volunteering, we have sent our first EVS volunteer of the year from to take part in an eight-month project with Service Civil International Switzerland. We hope to continue to make progress in this area and promote volunteering abroad amongst Kosovar youth through the Erasmus+ Program!
