Over the course of five days in October, the Balkan Sunflowers team screened Never Back Home, a new documentary by filmmaker Sami Mustafa, in five cities around Kosovo. The film, in development for over seven years, tells the stories of residents in the Plemetina camp for internally displaced persons and the social housing buildings that were constructed on that site. The premieres began in Prishtina with an audience of more than 200 people that included Ambassador Werner Almhofer, the head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo which supported the project. The film was then screened to audiences in Plemetina, Prizren, Mitrovica and Ferizaj. The thought-provoking film will continue to be shown to audiences around the world to highlight the issue of internally displaced persons.
